Last July 2008, more than 30 young Austrian-Pinoy participated in our Cultural Integrated Arts Workshop (CIAW1) that culminated in a successful showcase presentation at the Donau Haus der Begegnung. This historic event has been documented in comic form and can be viewed at

Building upon the success of last year‘s cultural work, PINAS FIRST will be conducting CIAW 2 with the cooperation of MA 7 (Wien Kultur) and the support of Volkshochschule Ottakring, on 15-22 July 2008 in WeltDorf St. Gabriel, Gabrielerstraße 171, 2340 Mödling.
Moreover, this year‘s showcase presentation will highlight the cultural traditions from different regions in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao (LUZVIMINDA). It will be on 22 July 2008, 6 pm at the Grosser Theatersaal, VHS Ottakring, Ludo-Hartmann-Platz 7, 1160 Wien.
Again this year, we are ecouraging you to be a partner to help promote friendship and cooperation in the Filipino migrant community. Your support will also develop further awareness, appreciation and pride in Filipino history, culture and heritage and respect for other cultures, that will bring into the reality of the Austrian-Filipino culture.
It promises to be a spectacular and breath-taking event and is not to be missed!
